Jason Mraz triumphs at the 52nd Grammy Awards

Jason Mraz swept his two categories at last night’s 52nd Annual Grammy Awards. The San Diego-based troubadour took home trophies for both “Best Male Pop Vocal Performance” for “Make It Mine,” and “Best Pop Collaboration With Vocals” for his alliance with Colbie Caillat, “Lucky.” Both tracks are featured on 2008’s RIAA platinum-certified “WE SING. WE DANCE. WE STEAL THINGS.”

Last year saw the multi-talented Mraz honored with the Songwriters Hall of Fame’s esteemed “Hal David Starlight Award.” The award – presented to gifted songwriters who are making a significant impact in the music industry via their original songs – has previously gone to such artists as Rob Thomas, Alicia Keys, John Mayer, and John Legend.
